I hope you two will soon become nutritional psychotherapists. There will be a great demand for this.

gonna start with a basic psychology degree. i don't want to bypass the fundamentals. i'm more than likely going to follow a home-study degree rather than attempt to join a university at 28 years old (will be 29 by the time of enrolment.)
the next plan is to take a nutritional psychology course such as one that you and jurplesman have provided links for on this very thread.
Jur volunteered in drug rehab centers at the start of his career and i think i might look to do the same thing once my studies are finished or at least nearly finished.

The Hypoglycemic Health Association of Australia have found a PhD student in Psychology, by te name of Hugh Dickson, who intends to design an on-line course in Post graduate Diploma in Nutritional Physiotherapy. He will do so after he has obtained his PhD.

Just as an update, I have put back beginning the psychology degree to this year, or possibly next year. i was turned down by my first choice schools, so i am reapplying to a broader range. and strengthening my application in the mean time.

i'm not sure yet, i may attend a university for the psychology degree, i'm tempted to but also thinking at 28 it might be a bit late in the day to go Uni (even though yeah people enrol in their 30's, 40's, 50's etc) everything else will be home study, online courses etc. i havent found anything on psychonutrition in the UK Hey, you are never too late to study. I started studying when I was 28 and i was still very sick at the time.

I've come to accept this Jur, and am applying for study next year, I will be 31 !
I applied for schools in 2012, but financially I wasn't in a position to be able to begin the studies.
2014 entry is my strategy now.

Thanks a lot Dave. This is tremendous good news. What is most important is to realize that your success rate is critical in obtaining a job as a Nutritional Psychotherapist.
