> Shapeshifter by Geoff Thompson for the importance of getting your palate (phsyical and brain food) correct as a foundation for anything you want to do. also a great book on personal development
>Optimum Nutrition for the Mind by Patrick Holford "improving your mood, boosting memory, sharpening the mind and solving mental health problems through nutrition".

Nice, I've read them both. Good books.
I really recommend:
"Mental and Elemental Nutrients" by Carl C. Pfeiffer
"The Science of Homeopathy" by George Vithoulkas ---->especially the first section on how the body works with disease.

I've read a little bit. Curious, do you know where I could buy a hard copy of "Getting off the Hook"?

Why a hard copy if it is all available on the internet? Get an iPad.

Just because I like hard copies better, but it's not big deal.

i have been waiting to buy a hard copy from Jur for a long time, but a cheque sent out to Australia brings expensive bank charges, so i'm holding on until my money situation is better

currently reading 'feel the fear and do it anyway' by susan jeffers. it's good. i know it's not nutrition-related but we are in the business of self-development aren't we.

Yep self development is basically just getting better health. I've definitely heard of that Jeffers book but I've never read it.

currently reading some john bradshaw. useful for recognising if there is some trapped negativity/unexpressed feelings etc. from childhood and the family system.
it's often said the mind is like a hard disk and that what goes in at a particularly young age is hard to wipe or change.
