this is how i find it goes for 95% of the time.
morning: get up to an alarm between 7 and 8. without alarm it would be between 9 and 10 which is too late. feel phsyically tired and aching, also a slight anxiety on waking and negative thoughts whirl around my head until i get a grip on it. irritable, not wanting to go to work. irritability lasts through til at least mid morning.
afternoon: after lunch feel better, irritability worn off, although not exactly buzzing with enerrgy. if i'm on a day off, need to resist urge to nap in the afternoon.
evening: starting to liven up. usually play footall in the evenings, which suits me cos i'm feeling better during the evening than at any point during the day.
night: it usually hits midnight and i'm not tired. i start to unwind with a book or an audio. rarely asleep before 1am, and can't remember the last time i just 'crashed out' in bed and was asleep within 5 minutes. it must have been months and months ago.
it seems my body clock is geared up like a night owl. i should go with it and work nights but this isn't something i really wanna do.
on a typical day i eat probably 85% of the correct hypoglycemic diet, but i've not achieved real consistency yet, so i know that this is one area i have to improve in. i haven't done any allergy testing
i'm planning on getting up at 6am every day, doing some exercise, and also incorporating some meditation into my day, and seeing if this helps.
cheers for reading.

One thing that might be causing problems is adrenal fatigue. When adrenals are worn out, then cortisone levels can be out of whack. For example, cortisone can be a bit too low in the morning, which can cause the drowsiness, and they can be a bit too high at night, which can affect going to sleep. Vitamin b-5 is known to treat adrenal fatigue. So if you know where to get a good b-5 complex supplement, I think you should try that for about 2 weeks, and see if you feel any better. Below is a link to the brand that I have used from my doc, so I basically know that it is a good brand. It is a good idea to get brand of supplements that you are know are legit, because sometimes certain brands can be low quality. When I was taking b-5, I did 1 capsule 3 times daily with food. www.thorne.com/Products/Vitamins/Multi_Bs/prd~B105.jsp

One thing that might also help a little bit in the morning, is to squeeze a lemon into a glass of water. Lemon water is actually pretty tasty in the mornings for some reason.
