I am not hypoglycemic in the sense that I drop into low readings of blood sugar - always above 90 but my BG goes high then falls. I have eaten an organic, whole foods diet for over 30 years.
Almost every day we have organic cookies with brown sugar and I have honey with herb tea and home made ice cream in a tiny amount after dinner.
Well Monday I stopped all high glycemic carbs and within 24 hours went in total hell - extreme nausea - headaches no aspiring will touch - muscle pain and fatigue - and much more. I feel like I have been hit by a truck. Spent two days in bed.
I never knew sugar could be so toxic - I am on my 5th day and still a mess
