I have been researching the establishment of a new profession: Nutritional Psychotherapy. I have over the past few years undertaken numerous discussions with Nurses, Probation and Parole Officers, drug counselors, social workers, psychologists and people working in the mental health industry and found there is great interest in such a course. It is envisioned that Nutritional Psychotherapists will contribute to the challenge facing the epidemic of "mental illness" as part of a team with other professionals. Its recognition as a separate profession should be based on its success rate in helping people overcome mood disorders by statistical evidence. Let's hope that some institution or organization will soon create a distance learning course that would enable the next generation of young people to obtain Post Graduate Qualifications in Nutritional Psychotherapy. Most of the study material is already available on the internet. One of the many sources would be at Hypoglycemic Web Site at www.hypoglycemia.asn.au

Yes I think respectable degrees in this field would be very valuable.
